Want to get your Coronavirus relief check? Scammers do too (FTC) - The Federal Trade Commission issued a warning last week stating taxpayers should remain vigilant against recovery rebate scams. No one should be calling you for information about where to deposit the check, or making claims that they are holding your check. The rebate will come directly from the government, and the government will be using information from your 2018 or 2019 tax returns to process the payments.
